As you can see, this is a fairly large world with lots of space to fill.

Heimpasol is a fantasy world blending ancient/medieval/renaissance culture and mythology and more; complete with humans, furries, dragons, elves, naiads, dryads, pixies, mermaids, centaurs, minotaurs, and more as well as species I have created, and maybe soon species that you have created (with your permission of course).

Do you have any characters you think would fit in this world well? Are you interested in designing brand new characters tailored for this world? Would you like to translate your own personality/appearance into a character suitable for this world?

Some of the 'intelligent' creatures of Heimpasol (keep in mind this is a partial list that will be updated when time allows):


There are several types of elves to be found in Heimpasol, generally though, they are all tall and skinny...

Sea Elves - live aboard sleek sailing vessels that sail in pods. Capital 'city' is a floating city of beautiful barges lashed together. Sea Elves are easily recognized by their tan to reddish skin tone from constant exposure to the sun.

Wood Elves - forest dwelling, fair-skinned elves.

Dark Elves - despite the ominous title, these elves are named for their dark grayish skin tone which acts as a sort of camouflage at night when they are typically most active, thus they may also be known as night elves in parts of the world.

Border Elves - not a specific type of elf, but rather an identifier for elves who have come to Border Elf cities after being ostracized from their own villages for one reason or another. Also a title given to mixed blood elves, especially those who are part human.

Pixies - tiny, mischievous/curious faeries.

Fae - faeries of human proportions with wings typically resembling butterfly wings or dragonfly wings.

There are a variety of faeries designated/magically bound to protect certain natural areas who cannot travel far from the area they must protect or typically the area will slowly lose life as well as the faerie.

Limoniads (Meadows)
Limniads (Lakes, marshes and swamps)
Napaea (Valleys)

Merfolk - live underwater, mostly in the oceans, and feature a human-like upper body, and lower bodies resembling fish/crustaceans/mollusks etc.

anthrofauns (furries) - bi-pedal intelligent animals of grand variety (mostly mammalian) created by unspoken means of the Goddess Katarra (patron goddess of mammals). Most anthrofauns reside in Fauneaus and most worship Katarra as the Great Mother.

Satyrs - have human upper bodies and bi-pedal goat-like lower bodies.

Centaurs - human upper bodies and horse/zebra/equine quadruped lower bodies. Often ill-tempered, especially with humans.

Amirans - a race of giants with human features residing mostly in the far northern reaches of Svea where most men dare not go.

Cyclopes - a race of humans, slightly larger than average with only a single large eye in the center of their forehead. Most reside outside the villages of Doria and are often treated with disrespect by 'normal' Dorians.
